New Sulfate Palladium Nickel Process from Technic

Technic, a supplier of specialty chemicals, analytical control systems, engineered powders and custom finishing equipment, has introduced a production proven Pallaspeed Pd/Ni NFA process that generates very low stress deposits.

Low Stress Palladium Nickel

The Pallaspeed Pd/Ni NFA is a sulfate palladium nickel process that is mainly developed to remove free ammonia, thus eliminating dangerous fumes and in turn increasing the safety of industrial workers and the environment.

In addition, the Pallaspeed Pd/Ni NFA process prevents corrosion of stainless steel tools, as it is chloride-free. The pH stability of Technic’s process is high compared to traditional Pd/Ni processes and decreases the requirement for frequent ammonia additions.

The process creates micro-crack-free ductile deposits with superior adhesion property at maximum thickness of 2.5 µ. The deposits have successfully cleared the sulfurous and hydrochloric acid porosity tests employed in the electronics industry.

Technic’s process is available under the title “Pallaspeed Pd/Ni LA” in Europe and Asia and as "NFA" in North America.
