Professional Plastics has introduced an advanced version of ceramic-filled PEEK compound called CeramaPEEK NC30 test socket material.
The material has been developed to address the needs for IC socket test fixtures with high frequency and tight tolerance. It is the first homogeneous ceramic-filled PEEK compound released in the market.
The new version offers enhanced cleanliness, hole stability and longer lifetime than other competitive grades. Precision holes made on the test socket material are burr-free.
The CeramaPEEK NC30 is available in large 24"x48" plates and is more economical compared to other injection-molded products. It is white in color.
Other features of the CeramaPEEK NC30 include thermal stability, stable electrical properties, excellent abrasion resistance and ductility, machinable to very tight tolerances and better dimensional stability. The dimensional stability of the test socket material include low coefficient of hygroscopic expansion, high modulus, low creep and low moisture absorption. It has low burring and is compatible with varied temperature range and fine diameter holes.
