Vystar, a manufacturer of Vytex Natural Rubber Latex (NRL), has signed a Letter of Intent to join EcoGlove Asia Pacific, a company specializing in reusable and sustainable exam gloves.
Vytex Natural Rubber Latex is a patented, naturally available raw material that considerably decreases the amount of antigenic proteins present in natural rubber latex. The deal is subject to the satisfactory completion of due diligence by both parties and is nonbinding. They have not yet finalized the terms of the merger. However, both parties are working to close the deal by September 30, 2011.
EcoGlove produces reusable medical Tr@ce gloves and offers advanced reprocessing technology to its customers who can use the Tr@ce gloves several times, thus exceeding safety compliance specifications.
The Glove-Unique Reprocessing Unit, known as "GURU", delivers automated decontamination, testing, cleaning, and re-packaging of Tr@ce gloves. The GURU reprocesses the used Tr@ce gloves and makes them new. Moreover, it tests for visual defects, pinholes and all other defects and packs them automatically according to size.
Each glove features a serial number that is constantly linked via the Internet to EcoData servers, which measure and manage the quality of reconditioned Tr@ce gloves in real-time. When the Tr@ce gloves complete their usage cycle, they are completely shredded and transported to external manufacturing plants and are utilized for products such as shoe soles.
EcoGlove is a client of Vystar and manufactures gloves from Vytex NRL.
