Lapolla Industries’ Low Density Spray Foam Insulation Earns ETA and CE Marking

Manufacturer of cool roof coatings and spray foam insulation, Lapolla Industries has secured CE Marking and European Technical Approval (ETA) for Foam-LOK FL 500 spray foam insulation (SPF).

Lapolla Industries’ products are ideal for commercial, industrial and residential applications in the insulation and roofing construction industries.

To earn an ETA, a construction product will undergo a technical evaluation to check its fitness for the required application. ETA enables construction product manufacturers to use CE marking on their products. The marking signifies that products comply with EU legislation and allows the distribution of products in the European market without any restriction.

Doug Kramer, President and CEO of Lapolla Industries, stated that earning an ETA and related CE marking for its low density open cell SPF provides a number of sales opportunities and assures access to EU markets. The company anticipates that global distribution channels will continue to grow rapidly in the future.

In April 2011, the first Lapolla Global Summit was held that focused on Material Safety, Handling and Environmental, Marketing and Sales Strategy using the Lapolla brand.
