The vehicle has been jointly developed by BASF and Daimler. The online showroom has been particularly designed for touchscreen computers such as the iPad and has been enhanced for smartphone users. The microsite provides technological information of the smart forvision and it features exciting video clips and three-dimensional animations of the car. The showroom also includes hotspots that provide in depth information about the modernization like solar roof, new lightweight body components, transparent organic light-emitting diodes, all-plastic wheels and infrared-reflective coatings and films.
