Insul-Lock E HR is a new roof insulation adhesive from Garland that offers all the benefits of a two-component urethane adhesive. It is more elastomeric, foamable, VOC- compliant and is free from solvents.

Insul-Lock E HR adhesive has low-odor, which makes it suitable for hospitals, schools and other environmentally conscious facilities.
Insul-Lock E HR adhesive features a unique packaging construction and has 45% of renewable content. This helps the building to achieve maximum green building credits. The green adhesive prevents the need for deck fasteners thus minimizing the possibility of damage and moisture penetration without disturbing the interior operations. This increases the lifetime of the waterproofing system. The adhesive is compatible with a wide range of substrates, including properly set graveled surfaces, insulation board layers, approved base sheets and structural decks. Insul-Lock HR Universal Primer, a water-based primer, is used to prepare proper surfaces.
Insul-Lock E HR is available in 1.5 L cartridges. The material can be applied easily and quickly using several battery-powered or pneumatic, single bead or multi bead applicators. Another important advantage of the adhesive is that it takes a few minutes for setting at different temperatures. The insulation placed on the newly applied adhesive allows foot traffic only after 10 minutes.
