Arradiance, a provider of functional film technologies and thin film process systems, has announced that Euris Semiconductor Services based in Grenoble, France has signed a partnership deal to sell and support Arradiance’s GEMStar benchtop atomic layer deposition (ALD) process tools in Europe.

Arradiance has also inked a similar deal with HTL.Co.Japan based in Tokyo for the Japanese and Asian markets. Euris Semiconductor Services’ President, Guy Salabert stated that the company understands the flexibility of GEMStar and its capability to address a broad array of novel applications in the growth-oriented ALD arena. The GEMStar is capable of meeting the ALD requirements of several smaller laboratories conducting research for private industries, universities and government facilities.
HTL’s President, A.K. Acharya commented that the company is looking forward to partner with Arradiance on this advanced system. The customers recognize the workability, user-friendliness, quality design and benchtop size of the GEMStar, its ability to produce quality films and its ease of maintenance.
Arradiance’s Chief Executive Officer, Ken Stenton stated that the powerful research system is an outcome of the company’s expertise in systems design, charged particle physics and materials science. The company witnessed the demand for a research system with high reliability and superior production performance due to the significance of materials research in various growth-oriented markets such as semiconductor, environmental, space science, solar and biomedical, Stenton said.
