US based hybrid conductive plastics company, Integral Technologies will open its first sales office in Korea during the first half of 2012. The new sales office will focus on catering to the increasing demand for the company’s patented light-weight material called Electriplast, which is based on resins.
Integral Technologies has held discussions with a potential partner for the manufacturing and distribution of Electriplast in Korea. Apart from carrying out these discussions Electriplast, which is a fully owned subsidiary of Integral Technologies, has helped many multinational companies based in Korea to test and mould Electriplast prototype products for local and international Korean automotive companies.
The sales office will be taken care of by ex-businessman and ex-director of satellite operator ORBCOMM, Mr. Gene Song. Mr. Song has extensive experience in financial investment in the satellite telecom industry in Asia and the US. He has also worked for Hyundai Securities.
According to William Robinson, Chairman and CEO of Integral Technologies, manufacturers will be able to make significant savings in cost of production due to the ability of Electriplast to be moulded into any shape and dimension at a low cost as this allows them to be more flexible in designing and faster in development.
