Research and Markets, an online research company, has declared that it has added a new report titled “Fabricated Metal Product Manufacturing” to its catalog.
The report has revealed that the US fabricated metal product manufacturing industry comprises nearly 55,000 companies with approximately $295 billion in collective annual revenue. Due to the special manufacturing method included for individual parts, majority of the companies manufacture a limited number of products. According to the report, major companies included in specialty segments are Flowserve, Snap-On, The Timken Company, Ball Corporation and Mueller Industries.
As a whole, the fabricated metal product manufacturing industry is fragmented, where the largest 50 companies produce nearly 20% of revenue, and concentration has to be focused more in industry segments such as metal can, spring, cutlery and boiler manufacturing.
According to the report, the global fabricated metal product manufacturing industry produces nearly $1.5 trillion in annual revenue. The US, Canada, Germany, Italy, China and Japan are top producers in the global level. The major fabricated metal product manufacturing companies based outside the US include Jiangsu Guotai International in China, Toyo Seikan Kaisha in Japan and Schaeffler Technologies in Germany.
