Hydromer had reported that the company has signed license agreements with three medical device manufacturers based in China.
According to these contract terms, each Chinese firm has received license on certain Hydromer’s medical coatings that are to be used on medical devices like different intravenous catheters, tissue culture rods and dishes and intraocular lens injection nozzles.
These Hydromer coated medical devices will be displayed by these Chinese medical device companies for the global and Chinese clients.
According to the Executive Vice President of Hydromer, Martin von Dyck, the company is elated to have these three new Chinese partnerships and is pleased to provide the company’s new medical coating technologies to the growing medical device market division of China. He added that Hydromer’s medical coating technologies are used in each of the Chinese firms and these technologies are specifically formulated for the respective coated device performance needs and device material selections.
Hydromer is a company based on biotechnology and is involved in manufacturing, research and development, contract coating and sale of specialized hydrogel and polymer products for use in industries, animal health, cosmetic, medical device, and personal care. These medical coating technologies have included anti-microbial, Hydromer lubricious, cell anti-mitosis, anti-thrombogenic, cell growth improving coatings for supply in the medical market.
