Calgary-based FSI Energy Services has bagged its largest contract to date from a leading Russian oil producer for the production, delivery and installation of a Brine Blending Plant.
The Russian client has already purchased 11 such plants from FSI. The total value of the contract is estimated at USD $7,980,000. Production is expected to commence in the fall season of 2012 at Calgary. The delivery is planned for November 2012. The plant is scheduled to be installed and commissioned for operation between April and May 2013.
The client stated FSI’s design and high quality are the factors leading to their decision to award the contract once again to FSI.
Richard Ball, President of FSI Energy Services, expressed excitement at the continuing relationship with their client and the reiteration of positive feedback from them on the 11 plants purchased earlier that have till date not required repair or retrofits.
FSI Energy Services supplies Brine plants and customized filters to chemical, water-treatment and energy sectors. It has designed and constructed 21 Brine blend plants, which have brought in consolidated revenue of $61.45 million. The company is considered to be a leader of this patented fluid-processing technology by few players of the Russian Oil industry.
