A new series of SOL9600 front-side metallization pastes will be showcased by the Heraeus Photovoltaics Business Unit at the Intersolar Europe 2012 Exhibition, which will be held from June 13 to 15 in Germany.
Heraeus Precious Metals’ VP, Andy London stated that the company has considerably enhanced the quality of SOL9600 paste, when compared to the company’s other SOL9411 and SOL9235 metallization pastes. The SOL9600 series has shown a 35% reduction in contact resistance on high sheet and regular emitter wafers and an improvement in efficiency of 0.3%, he added. The SOL9600 series also enables a wider processing window while firing, providing a tight production output distribution and improvement in yield.
The SOL9600 series of metallization paste can perfectly suit applications that need finer line resolution printing and higher efficiency.
The Heraeus Photovoltaics Business Unit develops and produces silver metallization pastes for use in the photovoltaic industry.
