Abresist Kalenborn has declared that it is celebrating the completion of 35 years of business in 2012. The company deals in wear resistant lining products, and manufactures and deploys a variety of ceramic- and mineral-based abrasion-resistant protective linings for use in industrial material handling equipment.
The company is situated 40 miles west of Fort Wayne in Indiana with sales offices located throughout Canada and the United States.
On 6 May, 1977, the company was established as Abresist Corporation. Later, Abresist Kalenborn Corporation became the new name of the company from January 2011. It is part of Kalenborn International, which is a parent firm to 12 subsidiaries with facilities located in South America, North America, Europe and Asia.
In 2011, Kalenborn Technologies, a subsidiary of Abresist Kalenborn, was established in Tennessee. The company fabricates custom steel products and specializes in Chrome Carbide piping, component repair, plate fabrication and other steel parts. All these products are wear resistant. In addition, Kalenborn Technologies provides handrail and stair fabrication.
The wear resistant lining products are used in different processing equipment, including pneumatic and hydraulic pipes and parts that can handle bulk materials in great quantities.
Abresist Kalenborn serves the chemical, mining, mineral processing, iron and steel, food processing, paper and pulp, and utility industries.
