The LECO 836 Series of elemental analyzers is designed for wide-range measurement of oxygen, nitrogen, and hydrogen content of inorganic materials, ferrous and nonferrous alloys, and refractory materials using the inert gas fusion technique.
A high-efficiency cooling system with dual DC cooling fans provides consistent cooling, and reduces or eliminates the need for external cooling systems. An improved detector design with thermostatic construction increases protection for ambient temperature fluctuations, while a long-life emitter drive and drift-free detection circuitry improves long-term stability. Additional options include an autocleaner for easy cleaning between analyses and a 20-position sample autoloader to enhance productivity.
The 836 uses an on-board software platform known as Cornerstone®, designed exclusively by LECO software engineers. Cornerstone is optimized for use with a touch-screen monitor mounted onto the front of the instrument by a fully-adjustable, six-axis boom. By having immediate control of all instrument functionality right at the instrument, the user benefits from increased usability, improved ergonomics, and a decrease in the cost-per-analysis.
Ask a booth representative for a demonstration of the new Cornerstone remote viewing option, which allows for the viewing of data, plots, and instrument status from the convenience of your mobile device or desktop.
