Ashland’s focus on customer solutions is being further enhanced by a marketing agreement between Ashland Casting Solutions, a business group of Ashland Specialty Chemical, a division of Ashland Inc., and SELEE Corporation. The agreement provides Ashland with exclusive rights to market SELEE’s ceramic foam filters for foundry applications in Europe and Asia and non-exclusive rights to distribute the products in North America.
“SELEE’s ceramic foam filters are a great match to our customer-solutions approach to enhancing foundry production. Through this agreement, we add additional design services capabilities so we can now more readily work with our customers from concept to manufacturing,” said Mike Swartzlander, vice president, Ashland Specialty Chemical, and general manager, Ashland Casting Solutions.
SELEE is a recognized high-quality producer of ceramic foam filters in the Americas iron and steel foundry market. The agreement with Ashland will expand that presence within North America and globally. Additionally, Ashland’s technical support services for the castings industry will expand to cover SELEE’s ceramic foam filters.
“This agreement with Ashland strengthens our existing sales and service network and will help to further establish SELEE products in the European and Asian regions. The real winners will be the foundry industry who will now have greater access to the world’s highest quality ceramic foam filters,” said Mark Morse, president of SELEE Corporation.
