Ten years ago IDTechEx hosted the first Printed Electronics USA event attended by around 150 people.
Presenters covered early results of R&D projects with new materials. On November 20-21 2013, IDTechEx will host the tenth annual event on the topic in Santa Clara, CA, which features more than 150 exhibitors and 2000 attendees.
In contrast to ten years ago, the opening speaker line-up includes some of the world's largest adopters of the technology varying across many application sectors. It includes presentations from Johnson & Johnson, Total, P&G, Colgate-Palmolive, Decathlon sportswear, Acuity Brands and many others.
The program is also packed with speakers covering genuine technology breakthroughs in a wide variety of topics including bio-electronics, OLED displays and lighting, sensors, stretchable electronics, supercapacitors, photovoltaics, transparent conductive films, graphene, barriers, substrates and materials and more, with 195 speakers in total, covering printed, flexible, organic electronics and related technologies and the applications they enable.
However, that is just part of the value of attending. IDTechEx strive to showcase the applications and products to attendees and to that extent the tradeshow floor features Demonstration Street - the world's largest collection of printed electronics enabled products in one place.
Additionally the trade show features Manufacturing Street - a live multi-technology printed electronics demonstration area that brings together organizations in the supply chain who will demonstrate a number of printing and process steps in interactive sessions throughout the event, printing functional inks.
If you are looking to understand end-user needs and case studies, the latest technology capability across a diverse range of related technologies, and see the whole supply chain with all the global major developers in one place, then we think this event will not just do that but exceed your expectations.
