The Scientific Instruments business unit of AMETEK Advanced Measurement Technology has entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with Blue Scientific, a leading European scientific instrument distribution business based in Cambridge, United Kingdom, that specializes in instruments for research, development and process control in both academic and industrial applications.
Blue Scientific is a new independent distributor focused on sales and marketing of leading, high-technology scientific instruments. Stephen Badger and Tom Warwick, its co-directors and joint owners, offer more than forty years of combined experience in managing sales and developing marketing channels for leading, global instrument manufacturers.
“We are very excited to partner with Blue Scientific and to have such an experienced team leading the way for us in the United Kingdom. We believe it will provide our UK customers with greater sales and service support,” notes Ben Lease, Vice President and Business Unit Manager for AMETEK Scientific Instruments.
“It is a particular plus that both of Blue Scientific’s co-directors are well known within the UK academic and scientific research communities and that Stephen Badger holds a PhD degree in Electrochemistry from the University of Manchester.”
“Blue Scientific is pleased to have the opportunity to exclusively represent AMETEK’s market-leading Solartron Analytical and Princeton Applied Research products in the United Kingdom,” adds Stephen Badger.
Scientific Instruments comprises the Princeton Applied Research and Solartron Analytical and Signal Recovery businesses of AMETEK Advanced Measurement Technology.
