Goodfellow, a leading supplier of metals and materials for research and industry, has announced that Phase 2 of an agreement reached earlier this year with Sigma-Aldrich Corporation, a leading life science and high-technology company, is now complete.
As a result, all alloys and an extended range of pure metals available from Goodfellow are now also available through Sigma-Aldrich.
Phase 3, to be completed by the end of the year, will see the addition of Goodfellow ceramics, engineering polymers and composites to the Sigma-Aldrich website. Under the terms of the agreement, Aldrich Materials Science is marketing and distributing the materials internationally.
Goodfellow's products continue to be available directly through Goodfellow and their current partners, and Goodfellow continues to provide technical consultation and support to all customers.
Goodfellow is a leading supplier of metals, polymers, ceramics and other materials to meet the needs of science and industry worldwide. The company specialises in supplying small quantities (a few grammes to a few kilos) of metals and materials for research, prototype development and specialised manufacturing applications.
Standard products can be found online at the comprehensive Goodfellow Catalogue (www.goodfellow.com). In addition, Goodfellow is often able to supply larger quantities of metals and materials or items manufactured to specific requirements.
