Dr Armbruster has an extensive knowledge of biological and materials electron microscopy and held Product Management positions at Hitachi High Technologies America and JEOL USA. She received a PhD in Botany from Duke University.

I am pleased to announce that Barbara Armbruster, formerly TEM product manager for Hitachi High Tech America, has joined us. She has also worked for JEOL and Gatan and is well known in the electron microscopy community. She will promote the third generation of Evactron® de-contaminators that have dual mode UV and plasma cleaning to provide the fastest and most economical way to pristine. These units guarantee fast removal of hydrocarbons and quick pump down time after cleaning is complete.
