Carat 950 - Hardness tester with overview camera

The high quality optical measuring system of the automatic hardness tester Carat 950 was enhanced by overview optics integrated into the revolver. With the overview camera and preconfigured test programs, hardness testing processes according to Vickers and Knoop can be planned and executed faster.

The Carat 950 allows not only the measurement of hardness profiles, but if combined with suitable software add-ons for image analysis, it is also a tool to evaluate structural constituents by light microscopy.

Advantages at a glance:

  • Hardness testing according to Vickers and Knoop
  • Integrated joystick with dynamic travel speed control for X-/Y-axis
  • Fine dynamic scroll wheel for Z-axis and high-speed switch
  • 8x revolver with up to 6 objectives
  • Köhler LED illumination
  • Overview camera
