DuPont Unveil New Engineering Polymer Applications at Plastindia 2006

DuPont Engineering Polymers recently hosted thousands of visitors at the business' booth during Plastindia, the largest international plastics show in Delhi, India. The DuPont booth featured applications new to the Indian market, including a powertrain system and DuPont Engineering Thermoplastic Vulcinate (ETPV), a thermoplastic rubber.

"Plastindia provided a focused opportunity for the team to meet customers and discuss new developments. Our featured samples said a lot about our development capability and helped us in our application extensions," said Vasudevan Venkatesan, marketing manager, DuPont Engineering Polymers.

Keith Smith, vice president and general manager, DuPont Engineering Polymers, visited Plastindia and was impressed by the market dynamics reflected at the show. In an interview with trade publication Modern Plastics & Polymers, Keith detailed DuPont's commitment to the Indian market. Keith detailed the business' new developments and underlined the importance of the Indian market to Engineering Polymers' overall global growth.
