Noranda Reorganises Metals Recycling Business

Noranda have reorganised their US-based metals recycling business creating a new company, Noranda Recycling Inc, based in San Jose, California.

The new organisational structure will encompass operations located at San Jose and Roseville in California, and Lavergne, Tennessee, previously operated by Micro Metallics Corp, as well as the Noranda Sampling Inc business located in East Providence, Rhode Island.

The operations will continue to focus on recycling precious metals recovered from electronics, telecommunications, automotive, refining and metal fabrication industries

The reorganisation of the recycling businesses was undertaken to provide a better service to Noranda’s manufacturers and suppliers.
