Milacron Divest Talbot Round Tool Business

Plastics processing equipment supplier, Milacron have sold their Talbot round tool business to Harpoint Holdings. Details of the transaction were not disclosed.

The Talbot stable includes brands such as Data Flute CNC, Weldon Tool, Brubaker Tool, Fast Cut, New England Tap and Micro Carbide Tool. They serve industries such as automotive, aerospace, and other metalworking areas, providing a range of drilling, cutting and machining tools in carbide and high speed steel materials.

The sale of the Talbot business follows their recent sale of Minnesota Twist Drill and will allow Milacron to concentrate on their core activity involving plastic processing technologies.
