Special Seminars Scheduled for 2007 European Powder Metallurgy Meeting

Delegates at this year's Euro PM Congress & Exhibition, 15 - 17 October, Toulouse, France will be able to participate in specialist seminars on 'Dimensional Control for High Density Ferrous PM', 'Designing for MIM', 'Hard Materials for Advanced Applications' and a special workshop on 'REACH'.

Although the three seminars and one workshop have been designed for distinct market sectors, they will all be primarily aimed at designers, parts manufacturing engineers, powder producers and end users, all of whom have been encouraged to attend. Owners and engineers of companies that have links with aerospace-focused businesses have also been encouraged to attend, to help realise the benefits of PM in their specific sectors.

The seminars will take place between 8.30 a.m. -12 p.m., on Wednesday 17th October, with the REACH workshop taking place on the Tuesday 16th afternoon
4.30 p.m. - 6.00 p.m. Scheduled speakers range from academia through to key industry figures. All presentations will be in English.

A tour of the Airbus facility for Euro PM delegates in Toulouse has been planned to coincide with the end of the special seminars and the finale of the Euro PM2007 event.

Four Airbus Tours will take place on Wednesday afternoon, with the first coach leaving the congress centre at 12.30pm.
