The load frames were particularly designed to cope with dynamic test loads, however they are also perfectly suitable for quasi-static applications. The advanced testing machine combines a linear drive (+/- 25 kN nominal force) with a torsional drive system (+/- 500 Nm nominal force). This construction ensures that test data are determined with a maximum accuracy.

Particularly worth mentioning is a new hydraulic wedge grip (25 kN) which is especially suitable for tests with changing force direction (smooth running). Decisive feature of this specimen grip is a quick mounting/dismounting and adjustable clamping forces.

A T-slot plate in the load frame additionally allows the mounting and testing of special size specimens.

The test software for synchronized tensile/compression and rotary movements allows in connection with a 2-channel controller a free definition. For example, real sequences can be recorded, run and used in other sequences.
