The IKA LR 1000 Control is a cost efficient modular laboratory reactor, designed for use at the laboratory scale. It has been developed to optimize chemical reaction processes, mixing, dispersing and homogenization applications. The system offers adaptability and flexibility, and can be adjusted quickly and easily to suit a wide range of specific requirements and applications.
The reactor itself is designed for the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries and their unique applications requirements. It is able to handle temperatures as high as 120 °C for the medium itself while the heating source (found at the bottom of the vessel) can be controlled accordingly to reach the set temperature inside the medium. The package includes a PT 100.30 temperature sensor and LR 1000.61 receptacle.
The package boasts a range of versatile and intuitive features including an integrated pH sensor connection. The unit’s display interface allows all process-relevant data to be shown on a PC, as well as saving the data into storage and controlling the reactor itself. Additional software accessories allow for further adaptation of the overall system and related processes.
