The RVG200 Touchscreen Paperless Recorder for Heat Treatment Processes

The RVG200 recorder from ABB Measurement & Analytics takes the proven operating and security advantages of the ScreenMaster range beyond its former limit. Its features comprise rear and front USB ports for linking peripheral devices (including a keyboard and a barcode scanner), touchscreen “swipe” operation, and RS485 and Ethernet communications.

It is possible to connect up to 24 process signals to the RVG200’s analog inputs or transfer the signals to it through digital communications. Similar to all devices in the ScreenMaster paperless recorder series, the RVG200 includes wide-ranging security measures to guard against unauthorized manipulation of process data, compliant with FDA 21 CFR Part 11 requirements.

Basic security features comprise the potential to configure and assign many users with separate passwords and access rights. The RVG200’s 256 Mb internal flash memory stores all recorded data safely, and can be extended to 2 GB if necessary.
