With increased ergonomic comfort, the new MK26 Series Vibration Control Workstation is made especially for applications requiring ultra-low natural frequencies.
Kinetic Systems manufactures the system using the patented Minus K negative stiffness vibration isolators to provide a compact, passive Vibration Isolation Workstation with ultra-low natural frequencies, higher internal structural frequencies, and excellent vertical and horizontal isolation efficiencies. The MK26 has been improved to offer more legroom and superior user comfort.
Without compromising its ability to support static loads, the Minus K vertical isolator achieves a low net vertical stiffness through the combination of a stiff spring and a negative stiffness mechanism.
Beam columns coupled in series with the vertical motion isolator offer horizontal vibration isolation.
The workstation achieves 93 % isolation efficiency at 2 Hz, 99 % at 5 Hz, and 99.7 % at 10 Hz when adjusted to a 1/2 Hz natural frequency.
Most of Kinetic Systems' vibration isolation workstation accessories can be used to personalize the MK26 Series. It can be configured for a wide range of applications.
Typical Vibration Control Applications for the MK26 Vibration Isolation Workstation
The MK26 Series provides the best performance for various instruments, including analytical balances, cell injection, confocal microscopes, optical microscopes, patch clamping, wafer probing, sensor calibration, atomic force microscopes, and other sensitive equipment in industries like semiconductor processing, telecommunications, aerospace engineering, and medical research.
