The exterior section of the truck exhibition. For six weeks, a specially designed mobile exhibition featuring the newest DuPont solutions for the automotive industry will visit customers, partners and R&D centers in Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovenia, Slovakia, Romania and Turkey.
The tour started last week in Poland and includes managers, engineers, technicians and specialists representing original equipment manufacturers and automotive suppliers. In addition to the exhibition, presentations and discussions with scientists and other guests from visiting companies are taking place.
“Responding to our customers’ needs, we are proud to present solutions to about 600 automotive experts invited to meet us on our ‘Driven by Science’ route,” said project sponsor David Bills , DuPont’s chief marketing and sales officer. “The solutions can help improve environmental performance, reduce costs and increase fuel economy – three priority challenges facing the automotive design and engineering community.”
“The truck’s route was chosen according to the annual production level of cars in each country and the possibility of visiting our partners directly,” said Thierry Marin, regional director, DuPont Central Europe. “For example, Poland reached 31 percent growth in car and vehicle production in the first eight months of this year, becoming a market leader in this part of Europe.”
