The AS9100 certification is the quality management standard for the aerospace industry. For suppliers in the aerospace industry, achieving the AS9100 designation is a key milestone. It is considered the gold standard for quality assurance specifically for aerospace companies. It ensures that the company has passed stringent audit requirements and evaluations of its manufacturing processes to achieve a standard of quality required in the aerospace industry. The current version of AS9100, Revision B, aligns with the quality management standard of ISO 9001:2008, with AS9100 holding the premier designation.
