Visual Magnetics, developer of the Visual Magnetics™ Graphic System, today introduced the new POLYpeel™ magnetic-receptive film. The 3-mil magnetic-receptive satin polyester film boasts a highly magnetic coating on the back, which allows for the printing of images that will hold magnets through the surface of the film.
This allows a user to place magnets directly on a printed image, and with POLYpeel's microsphere adhesive technology, the image can be removed at will. POLYpeel is an ideal solution for applications such as menu boards, or for the temporary placement of any magnetic-receptive removable panel.
Visual Magnetics' microsphere technology allows for user-friendly installation with harmless removal and repositioning of the panel. Unlike the standard Visual Magnetics Graphic System that is engineered to be placed over a magnetized base, POLYpeel magnetic-receptive film has a removable adhesive that adheres to most smooth surfaces.
"Innovation is at the heart of everything we create at Visual Magnetics, and we designed our new POLYpeel magnetic-receptive film to put an entirely new spin on magnetic-receptive graphic solutions," said Joe Deetz, founder and CEO of Visual Magnetics. "We created POLYPeel to provide a better option than previous magnetic-receptive surfaces made with steel, offering more flexibility for removable/repositionable magnetic-receptive graphics."
POLYpeel magnetic-receptive film is available now in 54" widths, compatible with UV curable, screen, HP Latex, solvent and Litho printing platforms. POLYpeel magnetic-receptive film is made from 25-50% post-consumer soda bottles and is part of Visual Magnetics' recycling program in which users are encouraged to return all used material to Visual Magnetics to be recycled for automotive manufacturing.
