Image-Tek Promote High Temperature Labels at TMS Exhibition

Image-Tek are a leading US-based supplier of label printing and label laminating solutions. They have a comprehensive range of products which they are currently promoting at the 2005 Annual TMS Meeting and Exhibition at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco.

Their products are suited to applications such as:

  • Hazardous materials labelling
  • Fixed asset labelling
  • Labelling materials subject to harsh environments

The harsh environment labels have been extremely popular the TMS meeting, with many materials processors looking for improved and efficient methods to track inventory through production and logistics processes. Image-Tek’s aluminium barcode labels are designed specifically for these applications and are able to withstand temperatures of up 1100°C.

For those requiring labels capable of enduring extremes temperatures, Image-Tek has a range of laser marked extreme high & low temperature metal tags. The tags are made from stainless steel, CRS, electro-galvanized, & standard aluminum base metals and are suited to temperatures up 1800°F. The laser-printed text and barcode information can also survive heated pickling acids.

The high quality metal tags are printed using a thermal transfer process and attached via wire, nail, rivet, or stud weld so they can survive any long extreme outdoor exposure or process.

Image-Tek also produce labels for “castings and rough cast surfaces” & laser marked tags that resist 1600°F, for 48-96 hours. These labels are UV stable.
