Companies from all over the titanium dioxide supply chain are expected to be in attendance at IntertechPira’s TiO2 2011.
Rio Tinto Iron & Titanium, 3M, Benjamin Moore & Co, Dow Chemical, The Sherwin-Williams Company and many more have already registered for this 12th biennial event. TiO2 2011 will take place February 14-16, 2011 at the FireSky Resort & Spa in Scottsdale, Arizona.
“This year’s conference will bring together international professionals including feedstock suppliers, pigment producers, end users and industry analysts. We also have a sizable representation from the investment community including Hoplite Capital management, Highside Capital Management, Seneca Capital, BB&T, Capital Markets, Eagle Capital partners and Citigroup,” said Christine Groff, conference director for IntertechPira. “TiO2 2011 will offer numerous networking opportunities for executives to meet face to face and is a proven location for creating key business deals. First held in 1990, this biennial event has become the key meeting place for the titanium dioxide industry to gather and prepare for the next five to ten years.”
TiO2 2011 is chaired by Reg Adams, Chief Executive for Artikol and Dr. James R. Fisher, President and CEO of IBMA Inc. The keynote presentation will be delivered by Peter O’Sullivan Global Marketing Leader for DuPont Titanium Technologies and will cover the topic of delivering sustainable growth. Other key speakers include John Elder, President, OUTOTEC USA; Jan Prochazka, Ph. D., President, Advanced Materials-JTJ Inc.; Bill Eibon, Director, Global Color Technology Platform, PPG Industries Inc.; Dr. J. David Lowell, President/CEO, CIC Resources Inc., Michael Dehn, President and CEO, Argex Mining Inc., and Dr. Stephanie Watson, Research Chemist for the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
TiO2 2011 will feature nearly 20 expert presentations assessing market trends, technical development and application related advances through presentations, question-and-answer sessions and panel discussions. Throughout the conference, there will be a number of hosted luncheons, breaks and receptions, which will be held in and around the exhibit area located outside the main conference room.
