Gaco Western has launched GacoFireStop, an easy-to-use and technically advanced product that integrates superior performance, ignition barrier and open-cell uniform spray foam in a single formula.
According to the company, GacoFireStop can be installed easily and quickly and features excellent flame retardant properties. It has excellent insulation capabilities and will successfully qualify in fire assessments. All these innovative features save both time and money for clients in a single-step procedure.
GacoFireStop qualified the ICC-ES AC 377 Appendix X test in February, 2011 that assures that its flame-resistant abilities surpass building regulations for lofts and crawl areas. GacoFireStop can be used on any loft or crawl areas and offers similar results as other foam insulation solutions from Gaco. It can be cured within an hour’s time.
GacoFireStop acts like any other open-cell insulation. Connecticut-based Ecologic Energy Solutions has reported that GacoFireStop does not create any vapor after application. The company was able to develop nice foam at 155 and 1250 lbs.
Upon proper application, GacoFireStop creates a uniform foam that is devoid of air pockets, offering spray foam contractors a simple yet an innovative product.
According to Isenberg Spray Foam, GacoFireStop does not produce odor and eye irritation and offered higher yields. The temperature of the substance in barrels was found to be 54° to 55° and performed quite well.
