EcoBlu Products has secured an order for Red Shield protected framing wood products from homeowners, Patricia D'Alessio and Gregory Artura, to construct a custom home in Litchfield County, Connecticut.
Patricia and Gregory are designing and building the home, which adopts several green features using technically improved building materials. They have selected Red Shield coating to eliminate termite and mold issues that can damage lumber products. The homeowners will use Eco Building Products during the framing phase of the project.
When they planned to build a house, Patricia and Gregory were looking for treated wood products for structural lumber. They were also concerned about resistance to fire, termites, mildew and mold. The Red Shield protection includes the AF21 Fire Inhibitor, which makes it an ideal choice for home construction.
EcoBlu Products currently owns a coating facility as well as inventories in Connecticut. The company’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Steve Conboy stated that they are looking forward to showcase the working and benefits of Red Shield lumber products to Connecticut people.
