BASF will display its wide range of advanced products for the solar energy market at the 26th European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition.
In the expo, BASF will demonstrate a pan or sub-construction, an innovative product produced from its engineering plastic, Ultramid. The pan enables simple and unique installation of photovoltaic modules.
SELURIS Clean, an eco-friendly cleaning fluid, when used for treatment before phosphoric acid doping offers effective surface hydrophilization and final pre-dope wafer cleaning, yielding superior dopant wetting. When used after the doping treatment, it removes dead layers and residues of phosphor silicate glass, producing a superior performing emitter.
BASF will display the various formulations of Ultramid for junction boxes and connectors that supply electricity produced by the photovoltaic facilities. This polyamide class plastic material has superior stability and flame resistant properties. The company will also display a wide range of customized ultraviolet, light and heat stabilizers for the plastics utilized in photovoltaic applications such as backsheet films, frames and encapsulants.
Pluriol, BASF’s portfolio of wafer cutting fluids utilized in the solar energy market, will also be displayed in the exhibition. Another product to be displayed is the CypoSol, a portfolio of aluminum and silver pastes and inks utilized for solar wafer metallization. The company will also display the CypoSol’s L series that are uniquely developed for the advanced laser transfer printing process. Moreover, the company will display COLO-FAST, a polyurethane casting system used for the rapid framing of photovoltaic modules.
