Wastequip, one of the leading North American manufacturers of waste and recycling equipment, announced that its Toter division has formed Toter Custom Solutions, a new business that offers custom material compounding and rotational molding services.
Toter is a major industrial rotomolder in North America and it has more experience in the design and production of material handling products, containers and manufacturing carts for the waste and recycling sector. Toter Custom Solutions operates many manufacturing units and the equipment capacity to address the demands of the customers.
Toter Customs Solutions’ production capabilities include hot stamping, mold-in inserts, multi-colored post-mold and in-mold graphics and custom colors such as granite colors. The business also offers ancillary services that include cut and sew operations, steel fabrication, final product assembly, trimming and finishing, injection and blow molding, warehousing and logistics.
In addition, the new division offers custom material compounding services for manufacturing power blends and plastic pellet based on customer requirements. The division can produce custom blends using virgin polyethylene or recycled material created from Wastequip’s in-house polyethylene recycling process. Toter Custom Solutions can also fabricate custom granite color blends incorporating micro pelletizing technology. The new business will leverage Wastequip’s and Toter’s capabilities to help clients bring their product innovations to market in a rapid and cost-effective way.
