Garland, a global provider of quality, high-performance roofing and building maintenance solutions for the industrial, commercial and institutional markets, is offering a single-component and emulsified poly-resin wall coating suitable for interior and exterior applications.
The Tuff-Coat wall coating damp-proofs and enhances appearance of all kinds of masonry wall surfaces, including exterior insulating finishing systems, stucco, brick work and concrete. The coating hides stains and discolorations and offers greater level of protection to masonry walls from salt and fresh water, fumes, UV and moisture.
Tuff-Coat low-solvent architectural coating is alkali-resistant, low fading and delivers an easily washable surface. Additional benefit of the coating is that its reflective surface helps to minimize surface temperatures. Tuff-Coat has a dry-film thickness in the range 10 to 20 mils.
When Tuff-Coat is used along with a soft polyester reinforcement, a perfect bulletproof damp-proofing system is produced. Garland’s wall coating is offered in textured and smooth finishes. The coating can be applied using roller or brush and the smooth version can also be applied by spraying. The smooth version has an elongation factor as high as 585% and a tensile strength that is as high as 160 psi. These features will enable the coatings to offer durable protection and they will not crack, blister, chip or peel when applied over prepared surfaces.
