Photo Stencil, a supplier of high-performance tooling and stencils has introduced its complete range of stencil technologies and products in the frameless stencil tensioning system, DEK’s Vectorguard. This includes NicAlloy-XT, laser-cut, electro-formed, chemical etch and step stencils from Photo Stencil.
The VectorGuard system offer space savings and ease with high repeatability, precise alignment and foil tension. It allows easy handling, is space-efficient, clean, compact and allows arrangement of stencil foils in an ordered fashion and the system can be recycled since the frames can be reused.
VectorGuard's high precision foil alignment and tensioning is completely automated ensuring that the mounting time is reduced to a few seconds. Enhanced rigidity makes it more convenient to fit, retrieve and tension the foil. Secure cassettes minimize storage space by at least 75% when compared to traditional stencils, and stencils from Photo stencil in VectorGuard frames are offered in a wide range of stencil thicknesses.
CEO and President, Neil MacRaild stated that Photo Stencil has been a licensed distributor of VectorGuard systems from DEK for more than six years. He added that the company has designed a wide variety of stencils in a VectorGuard foil. The advantages from proprietary techniques from Photo Stencil such as NiPlate include highly smooth aperture walls and high-quality paste release and NanoCoat ensures superior quality print deposit.
According to Sales VP, Rachel Miller-Short from Photo Stencil, VectorGuard is a user-friendly, strong and frameless system on the market. Photo Stencil has an exclusive portfolio of stencil products including mixed technology/hybrid stencils, in VectorGuard frames. Customers in a wide range of market sectors such as medical, solar, surface mount and industrial technology can now take benefit of these frameless systems, and it enables a high business for them, also commented Rachel Miller-Short, VP of sales, Photo Stencil.
