Xennia Technology, a supplier of industrial inkjet, has declared that the company has introduced its Zircon digital ink set for decorating ceramic tiles in China.
The company specifically designed Zircon inks for use in challenging environments during the manufacturing process. Ceramic tile manufacturer while using these inks will obtain an opportunity to create designs with colour density and strength, which was previously difficult to attain using single pass digital production systems.
Xennia’s Managing Director, Dr Alan Hudd stated that the company is delighted to unveil its Zircon digital ink specifically made to suit the markets in Asia. Ceramic tiles are manufactured in huge amounts in China and adoption of inkjet set is rapidly increasing. Zircon has been used in ceramic tiles manufacturing for more than a year in Europe. Currently, all the ceramic tile manufacturers in China have started using Zircon in order to make ceramic tiles with high-quality, reliability and excellent performance in printing, according to Dr Hudd.
