Molded Fiber Glass Construction Products (MFG CP) of Independence, KS provided custom forms for the downtown Kansas City Missouri Police Headquarters’ recent renovations.
MFG CP molded 529 triangle fiber glass waffle forms that were engineered to create the architectural cast in place concrete ceiling in their community room. The custom forms were two depth sizes: 38” and 30” and provided a dramatic effect in the suspended ceiling. The waffle forms are lightweight and economical to use, resulting in easier mobility as well as offsetting high labor costs.
The MFGCP team was awarded the project by CECO Concrete Construction. “We have worked on waffle form projects with CECO Concrete Construction throughout the years. CECO has a long history in the concrete construction industry. MFGCP is fortunate to partner with them in this project, especially since it’s so close to our entity in Independence, Kansas. Jarod Korf is the project manager in Kansas City for CECO and MFG CP is hoping to partner with him on future projects,” said Joe Kusiak, Sales Manager.
