Rhodia Completes Sale of Eurpoean Basic Chemicals Activities

Rhodia have just completed the sale of their industrial and commercial activities in Europe related to basic chemicals. These businesses were sold to Bain Capital, an investment firm.

The sale involves business units relating to phenols, hydrochloric acid and soda ash which are not considered by Rhodia to be part of their core business.
