As part of an ongoing effort to address the major challenges facing society with its industry and scientific expertise, Dow will engage customers and value chain partners at Composites Europe 2015. The event takes place from September 22 to 24 in Stuttgart, Germany, where Dow will present high-performance polyurethane and epoxy composite systems for infrastructure, construction and many more applications at stand B03 - located in hall 5.
At the exhibition, Dow will focus on composite applications such as long fiber injection (LFI) parts for the transportation industry, and epoxy systems for compressed natural gas (CNG) and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) tanks offering industry-leading technology that can be tailored to customers’ needs.
Delivering new solutions for pipes
Dow is expanding the VORAFORCETM Composite portfolio into applications such as glass-reinforced epoxy (GRE) pipes and will be offering high elongation epoxy systems for spoolable pipes, and high chemical resistance epoxy systems for pipe applications in harsh environments.
Polyurethane-based composites are replacing concrete, wood or metals for their superior toughness, anti-fatigue and anti-aging properties in applications such as utility poles, where Dow VORAFORCE™ composite systems demonstrate a better balance of toughness and impact resistance versus traditional polyester and vinyl ester resins.
Come by the Dow stand B03 in hall 5 to see examples of our light-weighting, strong and durable composite solutions and discuss with our experts how these can be used in exciting new applications to enhance established fabrication processes, such as: filament winding, pultrusion and long fiber injection.
