Rosti to Build New Factory in China

The Board of Rosti A/S has approved a capital investment request for acquiring land and erecting a new 10,000 square metre (100,000 square feet) factory in Suzhou Industrial Park, Suzhou, Jiangsu, China.

Due to new orders awarded, Rosti is expected to run out of capacity in the existing rented factories known as Suzhou I, II and III. The current set up is costly and gives internal logistics and management issues. The idea is to maintain Suzhou I and move activities from II and III to Suzhou Alpha and also provide additional capacity for expected organic growth from current customers as well as new customers.

The factory will be located approximately 8km east of Suzhou I and will be ready for production before the end of 2006.
