Cygnus Instruments has launched its Cygnus 3 ultrasonic thickness gauge with data logging.

The gauge uses the proven multiple echo technique, which allows metal thickness measurements to be taken while completely ignoring the coatings. Measurements are stored through a flexible data entry system that gives total versatility. Templates can be set up to cover any application and the results, which can be downloaded to a PC, are in a format that is compatible with standard software packages. The unit is supplied as a complete ready-to-use kit including probe, software and spare parts.

It comes in its own carry case with a two year warranty
