Machinability

Welding
UNS C63200 copper alloy can be welded by using various welding
methods such as gas shielded arc welding, spot welding, coated metal
arc welding, soldering, butt welding, brazing, and seam welding.
Forging
Hot forgeability of UNS C63200 copper alloy is about 70%. This alloy
can be forged at 815 to 899°C (1500 to 1650 °F).
Hot Working
UNS C63200 copper alloy has good hot working capacity.
Cold Working
UNS C63200 copper alloy has good cold working capacity.
Annealing
UNS C63200 copper alloy can be annealed at a temperature of about
621 to 705°C (1150 to 1300°F).
Applications
UNS C63200 copper alloy is mainly used in valve and pump components
for industrial process streams, high strength fasteners, marine
equipment, and pole line hardware.
