Introduction
Master alloys are a pre-alloyed combination of alloying elements. They are available in many forms, and are used globally. They are semi-finished products, and are also known as grain refiners, hardeners, or modifiers based on their applications. They are suitable for structure control and adjusting the liquid metal’s composition in order to obtain a desired result. They are used in place of a pure metal because they are economical, and save production time and energy.
Aluminium/aluminum boron master alloy is added as a boron additive in aluminum alloys. The following datasheet will discuss about aluminium/aluminum boron master alloy.
