Introduction
The Unified Numbering System (UNS) is a designation system formed by American Society for Testing Materials (ASTM) and Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). UNS designations C50100 to C54200 are called phosphor bronzes.
Phosphor bronzes are known to possess high fatigue resistance, excellent formability and solderability, and high corrosion resistance. Copper UNS C50710 alloy is a phosphor bronze.
The following datasheet discusses the chemical composition and properties of copper UNS C50710.
