The LQA 300 FT-IR wine analyzer from PerkinElmer integrates performance, accuracy, simplicity, and speed to analyze finished wine, must, and must under fermentation samples in one compact solution in less than 45 seconds. Users can master the system with minimal training thanks to the powerful and intuitive user interface, step-by-step workflows, and built-in connectivity and reporting software.
The LQA 300 FT-IR wine analyzer is ideal for routine analysis across the full winemaking process. From grape harvest to vinification to aging and bottling, the LQA 300 could be utilized to examine must, must under fermentation, and finished wine.
- Rapidly assess grape quality to isolate grapes and plan for fermentation
- Track vinification to guarantee alcoholic and malolactic fermentation processes take place
- Verify finished product quality to prevent the need to reprocess batches
- Observe outcomes for multiple-quality parameters for must, must under fermentation, or finished wine in under 45 seconds
Built upon a first-in-class platform, the LQA 300 advances FT-IR spectrometer technology that has been trusted for over 75 years. Patented technology, like the Dynascan™ interferometer and a temperature-controlled measuring cell, delivers unparalleled precision and stability, without any unwanted complexity.
A large 12″ touchscreen, that has been complemented with intuitive workflows, guarantees that the LQA 300 is simple for users of all skill levels to utilize. To examine a sample, if it is wine must, must under fermentation, or a finished wine sample, just load the sample and further press the large so-called “analyze” icon on the touchscreen.
A rapid 45-second analysis provides eight outcomes for finished wine samples, 10 results for must, and eight for must under fermentation, as elaborated in the tables below.
