DECTRIS EIGER®2 photon-counting detectors feature an active detector area that can range in size from extremely small to very large, a small pixel size of 75 µm, and a high speed. These detectors enable researchers to fully utilize the rising beamline photon fluxes with their count-rate capability of 107 ph/s/pixel and DECTRIS Instant Retrigger® technology.
The most resilient detector for modern beamlines is EIGER2, which has excellent support, and optional vacuum capability, and is constantly being improved.
- Fast: Continuous readout and an exceptionally high frame rate are provided by EIGER2 detectors
- More and better data: The detectors have two energy-discriminating thresholds that can be adjusted; a substantial active area and a high-count rate. Neither readout noise nor dark current exists
- Reliable: These detectors offer remarkably stable performance and radiation-resistant construction. Due to efficient industrial production and excellent customer service throughout the entire product’s lifetime, delivery terms are guaranteed

Techniques
X-Ray Diffraction
Due to the high dynamic range of DECTRIS strip detectors, patterns with both light and strong reflections are easily handled.
Scattering
The excellent signal-to-noise ratio and fast frame rates of the detectors make them ideal for scattering techniques like SAXS/WAXS.
Imaging
